This talented Hopi/Tewa potter started her craft at age 15.  Her mother Roberta Silas was a big influence on her, but Antoinette developed her own style, and has taken numerous awards at prestigious shows.  This is a lovely pot that came from a collection in the Chicago area, but was purchased at the Hopi reservation in the late 1990's.   It is hand coiled, hand painted and pit fired in the traditional manner.

Condition: Very slight chip on rim

Size: 3 3/4" high x 4 1/2" diameter
