I met the Teller family when mother Stella was working at the Pueblo Cultral Center in Albuquerque.  She invited me to Isleta Pueblo, where I met her family.  Her four daughters are all potters, and each has a similar and yet distinctive style.  What is a common thread in the work is the quality and playful character of "Teller" storytellers.  This piece came from a collection, which was originally bought from my gallery in the 1990's!  I remember that show so well, as Stella pulled out the vacuum cleaner and started to clean the gallery when the show ended!  Wonderful memories.

Mona was born in 1960 at Isleta Pueblo and in addition to her mother Stella, her sisters; Robin, Chris and Lynette are also potters.
